No. Trunked records from your own computer, so there is no bot, no extra participant and no change to anyone's screen. It cannot announce itself either: telling people you record is your job, and the law where you or they are may require their consent. If you want to ask first, set recording to ask before it starts instead of starting on its own.
Any call that runs on your computer: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Discord, Webex, FaceTime and calls in the browser. There is nothing to connect per app. Trunked notices when a call starts and asks whether to record it.
Both. Trunked is a desktop app because that is where the calls happen. On a Mac it needs macOS 14 or later; on Windows you download it and sign in.

Recording happens on your computer. Once the transcript is written the audio moves to encrypted cloud storage, so your library is on every device instead of filling up your disk. Nobody sees a meeting unless you share it: sharing makes a secret link that search engines do not index, and turning the link off breaks it for good.
